What The Fans Are Saying!

An experience, a journey, a once in a lifetime treat. These are all very accurate ways to describe the awe-inspiring performance that Sheila, Ringo and the All Starrs put on at Radio City Music Hall on Thursday night. There was such an incredible amount of musical talent and really musical history gathered on the intimate stage and yet for nearly 2 and a half hours it was a well oiled band that captivated each person lucky enough to have a seat in the venue. Richard, Billy, Edgar, Rod and Hamish played their hearts out while parents danced and sang alongside their children; many of which knew all the words for all the numbers. The highlight of the show, more than worth admission price alone, however was being blessed enough to watch Ms. Sheila E. and the fab Ringo Starr play the drums side by side. What Ringo is to 60s rock and roll drumming, Sheila is to drumming today. She is THE most talented drummer and percussionist that I have ever seen play (minus Ringo, of course!). From the Billy Shears intro to the conclusion of helping her friends, Sheila stunned audiences and left nothing of herself behind. The 9th All Starr band was simply amazing, and being in the same room as the legendary Ringo Starr was awesome, but Sheila E. really stole the show. She is a magnificent talent, an extraordinary human being and a treasure in any band. Sheila was even kind enough to give me a pair of her drumsticks, and even though I unfortunately left them under my seat at Radio City (something I will not forgive myself forever), it just goes to show you her beauty both inside and out. Thank you Ms. Sheila and God Bless you!

My husband and I were at the final show at Radio City Music Hall, New York last night and I just need to say that it was totally amazing. Sheila E is truly the most amazing, talented, gifted drummer I have seen in my life. Drums are my favorite instrument and I wish I knew how to play them so watching her is an unbelievable experience. I give her so much credit because she did not stop for 2 hours and 20 minutes and it was awesome. To watch her and Ringo play together was incredible. Each one of the members of the band is so very talented and gifted as well. It was a very up-lifting experience and one that I will never forget. I hope the band is relaxing for the next few days because they truly deserve that. Thanks for listening.

You gave us all much joy when you performed at Mohegan Sun Casino the other day. You have obviously had a deep connection to drumming, and your style of glamour, one that is driven by modesty and beautiful spirituality, is of the most dignified kind. God Bless You. Stay healthy; we're all coming back next time.

When my Dad told me that Ringo was going on tour again, the first thing I asked him was, "Is Sheila going to be there?". When he said yes, I was excited beyond belief and said I would definitely go! I am 15 years old, and my parents and I saw Ringo and the All Starrs last night at Westbury. I loved how Sheila kept going into the audience; she even took pictures with people as the show was going on. We were so blown away by the show that we got tickets for Radio City next week too. We lucked out and got 6th row, I can't wait! Sheila is such an inspiration to me, because I play the drums too. She is just amazing. So far I've seen Sheila with Ringo about 5 times since 2001. Each concert just keeps getting better. Keep on rockin'!
Lots of love & drum sticks!

My husband and I saw the performance with Ringo Friday night at North Fork Theatre in Westbury, Long Island. I just wanted Sheila to know how impressed we were by her performance and her "light". She was like a bright star and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She just radiated such a good feeling and we really enjoyed the show. It was a great night, and God bless her.

I am the house manager at the State Theatre in Easton, PA. The show last night was great! More importantly, I would like to thank you for your testimony. I noticed that on one of your drumsticks the verse 1 Peter 4:16 was referenced; it's not often in this business that I see someone who's not ashamed of their faith, and it was very refreshing! Thanks and God Bless.

Saw you last night in Easton, PA at the State Theatre. The band rocked the house! Ringo and the boys just floored me. And you? What's up with that? You sounded and looked totally amazing. Can't wait to see you again in Atlantic City. You never sounded better behind or in front of the kit. I would love an autograph. Maybe one of my drum heads. Take care and be safe.

What a privilege it was to attend last night's show at the King Center in Melbourne, FL! All of you were fantastic as a group and as solo artists. It just amazes me that Ringo has put together a group that is so talented and so diverse. I can't even imagine how he decided who to include in his All Starr Band. It was like going to multiple concerts all wrapped up in one. Thank you all for such a wonderful two and a half hours! You are all the best!

Saw the tour last night (June 29th) in San Diego. Growing up I came of age in the 60s and early 70s. I was not a big fan of the 80s music scene. Naturally I grew up with Ringo and the Beatles. I've always been a huge fan of Edgar and his brother Johnny and have been going to see them in concert for the past 30+ years. Having kids that were growing up in the 80s and watched a lot of MTV I was familiar with Sheila even though I had never really sat and listened for more than a few seconds to any of her songs. I knew she played the congas and was kind of sure she played the drums. Let me tell you, my jaw fell to the ground when she let loose last night! One of the more impressive drum performances I have ever witnessed and I seriously doubt that any to come will match it. Sheila, I went to the concert thinking you were some 80s has-been and left having the utmost respect and admiration for your talents. I tip my hat to you and thank you for a wonderful evening of superb entertainment.

Loved how you guys and Sheila rocked those little boats off Humphrey's last night! What a show! It wowed the boat people and the paying customers seeing you all doing your thing in San Diego. I am so glad you came back to our part of California. We loved Rod Argent doing keyboards and singing She's Not There; Richard on keyboards singing Right Here Waiting, Edgar Winter doing Frankenstein and Free Ride, Billy Squier kickin' royal bootie on Everybody Wants You, and of course Ringo and all the All Starrs doing their thing to make all the Beatles and Ringo songs rock our world. Thank you! Peace, love and music to you all.

Went to your concert at Pala Casino. What a beautiful venue and great concert. You were definitely the HIGHLIGHT! I enjoyed our time so much. I went for you, my friend went for Ringo, my husband went to see Edgar and his friend went to see Billy. Richard Marx voice is absolutely fabulous and Ringo's energy is incredible. Keep it up, you looked and sounded great.

I wanted to tell you how awesome you were Saturday night in Hollywood. I have been to over 200 concerts in my lifetime and you are definitely the Greatest Drummer I have ever seen. I listened to you and watched you the whole concert. You took a great night of spectacular artists and made it special with your talents. It was my honor to see and hear one of the Best Drummers in the world perform that night. Now I know what a real drummer sounds like. Thanks for a great show! Tell Ringo he is not bad either, but as he said, you hit the drum's more that night than he has in 40 years.

I went to the show in Santa Rosa, CA last night. I am (almost) 53 years old, female. I'm British, have lived here in California for 23 years, and grew up in England loving the Beatles. Cannot believe that Ringo came to a small town like Santa Rosa so I had to go! Stood in line at the box office, bought the best seats I could get. The show was worth every penny. To see Ringo come out on stage in such a small venue (1,500) was unreal. Wow! Every member of that band was outstanding. All got standing ovations. I particularly loved Sheila E. What a powerful drummer. Her solo was a WOW and her parents were in the audience. Edgar Winter was brilliant! And Ringo....Ringo is Ringo...no one else like him. He was personable, relaxed and downright friendly. I kept thinking about the Sgt. Pepper days, the movie Help, their time with the Maharishi....and here he is on a small stage in Northern California. The whole audience was enthralled and everybody sang along. It was worth every penny!

I went to your wonderful concert last night (June 15, 2006) in Toronto. I had such a great time and I am spreading the word. My husband is from Liverpool and, of course, is a Beatle maniac. After leaving the concert we were absolutely floored by all the talent from the past. This concert was different than most. You guys looked like you were enjoying yourselves and having a ball entertaining us! You are all true performers! Your unique styles and laid back approach remind all that true performers really do it for the love of music with great enthusiasm and honesty. Thank-you for bringing the past into the future!

I had the pleasure of attending the opening night concert of the Ringo tour on June 14, 2006 at Casino Rama. My seats where in row 12 on the floor so I had a great view of Sheila and the band. They all looked amazing and sounded superb, especially Sheila who performed some knock out solos. Ringo has put together a top notch group of musicians for this tour. It is a must see with plenty of variety .

Fantastic night! Loved the show (Wednesday, June 14, 2006). What amazing performances done by all. It's good to see that you all have a sense of humor, and enjoy what you do. Can't get the smile off my face.
