Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band - 2003 Tour

Sheila E. joined Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band on their US tour this summer. She performed vocally as well as on drums and percussion. Besides Ringo Starr and Sheila E., the other All Starr Band members were John Waite, Paul Carrack (formerly of Squeeze and Mike and the Mechanics), Colin Hay (formerly of Men at Work) and Mark Rivera. Aside from being Ringo's drummer, Sheila performed her hit singles "The Glamorous Life" and "A Love Bizarre". One of the show's biggest attractions was Sheila showcasing a brand new and spectacular drum kit, especially made by Drum Workshop for the tour. During her long timbale solo in "The Glamorous Life", audiences in many cities got a taste of how amazing a percussionist Sheila is. For the first time in many years, while on tour with Ringo Starr, Sheila also conducted drum clinics in selected cities throughout the US.
